What is Geetanjali NIFTEM?
Geetanjali is the official literary and creative writing society of the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), located in Kundli, Haryana. Conceived from a shared passion for literature and the expressive arts, the society serves as a vital cultural hub within an institution renowned for its focus on food science and technology. Geetanjali provides a stimulating platform where students can explore diverse literary worlds, hone their creative writing, and engage in oratorical events like poetry slams, debates, and open mics. By organizing interactive workshops, publishing student-authored articles and stories, and hosting intellectual discourse, the society nurtures creativity and critical thinking. Geetanjali aims to celebrate the rich tapestry of human expression, enabling science and technology students to develop into well-rounded individuals equipped with exceptional communication and analytical skills.

Faculty Coordinator
Dr. Rajni Chopra, Professor and Head of Department, holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from CFTRI, University of Mysore. Specializing in Lipid Science, Enzymatic Interesterification, and Nutraceuticals, she guides students in fostering innovation and creativity in food science.

Faculty Coordinator
Dr. Vinkel Kumar Arora, Professor in Mechanical Engineering, holds a Ph.D. from NIT Kurukshetra. His expertise includes CAD/CAM, food dehydration, solar systems, and 3D food printing. As advisor for SAE events, he promotes interdisciplinary skills and creative problem-solving.
