Film Thinking ft. Jojo Rabbit

Film Thinking ft. Jojo Rabbit | Geetanjali – The Literary Society, NIFTEM-K

What if a film could make you laugh, question your beliefs, and see the world through an entirely different lens?

Geetanjali – The Literary Society at NIFTEM-K presents Film Thinking ft. Jojo Rabbit, an engaging cinematic experience that goes beyond watching a movie to explore the deeper meaning behind its story, characters, and social commentary.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Jojo Rabbit is a thought-provoking satirical comedy-drama that explores the absurdity of hatred, the influence of propaganda, the dangers of blind ideology, and the enduring power of kindness, friendship, and humanity. Through the eyes of a young boy navigating a world shaped by prejudice and misinformation, the film challenges us to question what we believe, why we believe it, and how empathy can transform our understanding of others.

More Than Just a Movie

This Film Thinking session invites students, cinema enthusiasts, and curious minds to engage in meaningful conversations about:
🎭 Film analysis, satire, and the art of storytelling
🧠 Critical thinking, ideology, and the psychology of prejudice
🕊️ Humanity, empathy, friendship, and moral courage
🎥 The role of cinema in challenging perspectives and inspiring social change

At Geetanjali, we believe that stories are not merely meant to be watched—they are meant to be questioned, interpreted, and remembered. This initiative celebrates cinema as a powerful medium for intellectual exploration, creative expression, and meaningful dialogue.

Join us as we look beyond the frames, uncover the ideas beneath the humour, and discover how a film can leave us with questions that linger long after the credits roll.

Watch thoughtfully. Think critically. See differently.
