The Rainfall
Table of Contents
I rose by the warmth of sun,
All I do is dance or run,
I drift where winds have spun,
All I know are joy and fun,
New and mystic on my way,
Chilled and heavy on the bay,
Clouds made my life grey,
Something drowned me away,
Diffidence crawled my heart,
Feels like a blind dart,
As rain I must depart,
Now ready for life's art,
Via rivers that bend and turn,
Through mud pits, I still yearn,
Maybe a raindrop to return,
Or a student who’ll burn.
